Local firm shoots high with a boost from Virgin StartUp

Local Camberley firm, Fudge Animation Studios, has seen its business boom after successfully applying for a £25,000 loan from Richard Branson’s Virgin StartUp company via Enterprise First.
Fudge create and produce entertaining animated stories and content for audiences of all ages, working with some of the world’s largest brands and organisations, such as Hewlett Packard, Samsung and The NHS. The company had been trading for just 12 months when they decided to apply for the loan.
“We worked with Enterprise First to help us secure the loan and their support was invaluable”, commented James Hill, Director of Fudge Animation. “Without them, we simply would not have been able to access the support that we received from Virgin StartUp”.
When successfully granted the loan, the team at Fudge were able to add state of the art animation equipment and software along with investing in digital marketing to help raise their profile.
Their biggest achievement as part of this investment came in the form of the opportunity earlier this year to work with THE animation company, working with Disney on a music video for the first female artist to be released outside the US under their Hollywood Records label.
“It was amazing” commented Hill, “it doesn’t get much better than that!”
To stand out from their competitors Fudge draws together experts that are then involved in all of the initial stages of client projects; these experts include art and creative directors, sales, marketing and social media experts, scriptwriters and storytellers, and even up and coming comedians. This early stage ethos ensures that the work Fudge produces really stands out.
The team at Fudge plan to continue building their dream, and continue to delight their customers with their engaging content. For more information see http://www.fudgeanimation.com
